If you want shipping supplies or want to order from Colonial just give us a call or email us. If you are a new customer we’ll send you a welcome kit that includes everything you will need to send us your cases.

If you need to get started right away, you can download printable versions of our Crown and Bridge or Removable prescription forms. Simply fill out your prescription, keep a copy for your records and include a copy with your case and ship to Colonial Dental Lab. Then, call us to schedule a pickup.

Colonial Dental Lab offers pickup and delivery service with their own vehicles for these Southern New Jersey Counties: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May. We also offer pickup and delivery service to Philadelphia. If your practice is outside this area we still offer door to door pickup and delivery thru United Parcel Service (UPS). If you would like to request a pickup, either with our couriers or UPS, call us.

At Colonial Dental Lab, we understand that case turnaround times drive patient scheduling in your practice. Please refer to working times to assist you in determining in-lab working days. Please note our case turnaround times are effective once all applicable case materials have arrived at Colonial Dental Lab.

Note that combination cases including multiple product configurations require full working time for each product component selected for the case. Specialty cases such as dental implants may require additional in-lab working time than those listed.

All rush cases must be pre-scheduled by calling us before the case is shipped. Rush case turnaround time depends on the time of day the case is received at Colonial Dental Lab. An additional fee will be added to all rush cases.

Working Times

This time schedule refers to full working days in our laboratory. Our working days are Monday through Friday, not including the day of the pickup and the day of the delivery. For example, a case picked up on a Monday, needing eight working days in the lab, would be returned the following Friday.

Pack & Send

Proper care in packing your case for shipping plays a significant role in the quality of the case and service we can provide. Broken models can result in ill-fitting prosthetics which means a new impression and an inconvenience to you and your patient.

Follow these steps when sending your cases to the laboratory to ensure a safe delivery:

  • Disinfect the all case materials, place in the bag and seal.
  • Wrap models individually and securely with bubble wrap.
  • Additional bubble wrap should be added to fill the box to avoid movement and possible breakage during shipping.
  • When shipping an articulator and face-bow:(a) Remove models from articulator and wrap individually OR (b)If models remain on the articulator, please separate the articulator. Each piece should then be wrapped individually and anchored in the box. The face-bow and other enclosures should be wrapped separately.
  • Shipping loose crowns, bridges and/or shade tabs: Place in a separate small container or sealed plastic bag and wrap separately to avoid loss or breakage.
  • Any photos or slides that accompany the case should be placed in a plastic bag for protection.

How do I schedule a pickup?

Colonial Dental Lab offers personal pickup and delivery with our own drivers in South Jersey from Burlington to Cape May. We provide pickup and delivery service to Philadelphia. If your practice is outside of these areas will can provide service using United Parcel service (UPS).

To schedule a pickup contact our customer service department Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM by calling or 1-800-822-0477 or 1-856-753-6600. After hours you may leave a message with the automated attendant by dialing #100 when prompted.

How do I track my case?

Presently the best way to track a case is to call our customer service department Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM by calling 1-800-822-0477 or 1-856-753-6600.

In the very near future you will be able to track your cases through a Web based program called DDX. DDX is the most comprehensive platform-neutral network available to dental labs and practices for digital case management. Deep integrations with major digital dentistry devices and software help us ensure that DDX-Enabled practices and our lab are on the forefront of technology adoption.

Can I still use the old forms?

Yes, you can continue to use the old Colonial Dental Lab prescription forms until you run out of stock. You may download the new forms from this web site or you may place a new order for prescription forms.

What is your remake policy?

A detailed copy of the Colonial Dental Lab’s remake policy is on the back of its RX form (or 2nd page of the downloadable RX form). Please contact Colonial Dental Lab at 1-800-822-0477 or 1-856-753-6600 for case-specific issues.
